We left Tomball at 8PM and got here at 3AM. That's freaking amazing.
I think the thing that made this time so much faster than last time (18 hours) was that we didn't take the interstate.
People were literally PARKED on I-45, and we were like screewwwwwwwwwwww that.
So we took a shitload of backroads, stopped at I don't even know HOW many little tiny towns.
But anyway. We're in Arlington, TX right about now.
Things are all good.
I just hope everyone at home isn't getting screwed over. I've heard that the power is expected to be out for at least a week. Maybe it's just media hype?
We'll find out tonight. The hurricane's gonna hit around 2 AM.
